DAVIES® Epoxy Primer is a polyamide-cured epoxy coating with rust-inhibitive properties. It is highly recommended as a protective barrier in corrosive environments and exhibits excellent adhesion to ferrous and non-ferrous metal, wood, and concrete.

PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS
Application Tools :
Brush / Roller / Spray
Thinning:
For brush or roller, use as is. If necessary dilute with not more than ¼ liter DAVIES® 95 Epoxy Reducer per 4L DAVIES® Epoxy Primer
Mixing Direction:
Mix 3 volume parts of DAVIES® Epoxy Primer Base to 1 volume part of DAVIES® Epoxy Primer Hardener
Surface Preparation:
Surfaces must be clean, dry, and in sound condition. Remove all oil, loose rust, and other foreign material to ensure
complete adhesion of the primer to the surface.
Painting System:
A. Metal, Ferrous Surfaces
Primer/Sealer: Apply one (1) coat of DAVIES® Epoxy Primer
Topcoat: Apply two (2) coats of DAVIES® Epoxy Enamel
B. Metal, Non-Ferrous Surfaces
Pre-Treatment: Apply one (1) coat of DAVIES® 900 Vinyl Wash Primer
Primer/Sealer: Apply one (1) coat of DAVIES® Epoxy Primer
Topcoat: Apply two (2) coats of DAVIES® Epoxy Enamel
C. Concrete
Primer/Sealer: Apply one (1) coat of DAVIES® Epoxy Primer
Topcoat: Apply two (2) coats of DAVIES® Epoxy Enamel
D.Wood:
Primer/Sealer: Apply one (1) coat of DAVIES® Epoxy Primer
Topcoat: Apply two (2) coats of DAVIES® Epoxy Enamel
Drying Time to Topcoat: 2-3 hours
Clean-Up: DAVIES® 95 Epoxy Reducer
STORAGE AND HANDLING
• Keep container closed when not in use.
• Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated space.
• Do not transfer contents to other containers for storage.
• In case of spillage absorb with inert materials such as sand.
